- A 1989 cover version of "Right Back Where We Started From" was done by Sinitta
- The cover reached the #4 spot in the UK charts
- In 2000 the British girl group Cleopatra (known as much for their clothing & makeup lines as for their musical abilities, and signed to Madonna's "Maverick" label), recorded the song to be used in the animated Disney film "An Extremely Goofy Movie"
