In July 2004 Mike & Veronne headed west to Oregon to visit family.

While they were out there they took the opportunity to try a little whitewater rafting.

You really have to see this photo close up to see the look of terror on Veronica's face...it's worth it!

You just never know what might happen at an Oracle performance!

For instance, this shot was taken at an Oracle performance at J&Js Afterdeck in Pasadena Maryland last September.  Now granted it might have had something to do with the impending Hurricane Charlie that was threatening the area, or perhaps it was something in the "water" they serve there.

Afterdeck has been one of the most popular stops on the Oracle tour since we started playing at Afterdeck last year,

Of course, shots like this sort of let you know just WHY it's such a popular place!!!

To see more photos from Oracle's performances at Afterdeck, head on over to the J&Js Afterdeck Photo Gallery.

There are no rules at a wedding. The bride & groom dictate the atmosphere depending on the kind of party THEY want to throw! Click for enlarged view The fall in Washington DC is also one of the most popular seasons to get married.

Weddings come in all flavors, from very formal to very casual.  However, they all have two things in common.  First off, there is always a happy newlywed couple deeply in love.  And second, when Oracle plays, everyone has a good time.

All of the photos you see here were from fall weddings that Oracle was privileged to attend.  Pictured here are some of those moments that stood out to us.  From left to right, top to bottom:

The very happy bride staring into her husband's eyes...the children playing tambourine and maracas with the band, the outdoor party in Edgewater where it poured rain all day, then the clouds parted just in time for the party...the bride dancing with her flower girl...and the belly dancer at an Middle Eastern / Polish / German wedding

Early October found the band with a weekend off as Mike and Veronica traveled to Germany so Mike could attend a conference.

Veronica took the opportunity to visit her sister in Amsterdam, and then returned to Berlin where she caught up with Mike after the conference ended.

The photo here shows Mike & Veronne at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.

We tried to find out all of the really wonderful places they visited, but Veronica w couldn't pronounce (or remember) any of the names!

Our friends from Changing Focus really know how to throw a party! Click for enlarged view Also in October our very good friends with the group Changing Focus invited Oracle to perform for their fall fundraiser.

The Changing Focus folks have been staunch friends of Oracle for a couple of years now, and we'd like to extend our appreciation to all of them for their support of the band over the last couple of years, and for allowing us to be a part of your fundraiser.

inner of Most Original Costume, this was one of the "udder" winners. (Sorry...couldn't resist) Click for enlarged view It's a day that we've been looking forward to since we booked the date last year.  HALLOWEEN!!!

The Oracle faithful gathered at Perry's Restaurant in Odenton Maryland dressed in their scariest, most original, and sexiest costumes to enjoy a night of major partying.

This was the second year that Oracle has been invited to perform for full house event.  We thought that last year was really something.  However, if you can believe it, this year was even BETTER.

Check it out for yourself!
